When students are provided with all of the components of a comprehensive literacy program, all students can learn to read and write! Some students will require additional support to ensure they, too, have access to reading and writing opportunities. In this webinar, we will explore strategies and tools that help teachers to build engagement in their students, and help students to gain access and independence while learning to read and write. Join us to hear about the impact these strategies and tools have had on students and teachers, in both elementary and secondary settings.
This 30-minute webinar will provide
- An overview of the components of a comprehensive literacy program
- An understanding of additional support necessary for some students to ensure equal access to reading and writing opportunities
- Strategies and tools for teachers to enhance student engagement and promote access and independence in literacy learning
- A discussion of the impact of these strategies and tools on students and teachers
- Examples of how this is relevant for both elementary and secondary settings
